List of job roles within the differing media industry:
Strategy:
Brand strategist- Analyses market research data and trends and uses the information to develop the plans.
Media planner- They have to find out the best Media platforms that the company can use to advertise their product and which one will be the most successful platform to make sure the product is a success.
Digital strategist- This role involves managing the web and online marketing strategy of the brand and the products.
Management:
Account Director/ Manager- This job is very important as this involves responsibility for managing the agency's relations with its client or accounts. This person is also responsible for delivering creative work that meets the clients needs.
Marketing Director- This job role involves a person to Manage the Marketing process of a business or product.
Traffic Manager- They are the Project Managers. They are responsible for the coordination orderly flow and the time management of the project from the start of the process to the end.
Creative:
Creative director- Is in charge of the people who are on the creative team such as art directors, designers and copywriters.
Design Manager- They help oversee the Creative Manager.
Art Director- They are responsible for what the product is going to look like. They create the overall designs.
Image retoucher- They change the appearance of a photo or digital image that is suitable for the project.
Illustrator- They produce 2D drawings that could be used for advertisement and other promotional materials.
Graphic designer- They create the visual concepts based on the art directors designs that have been made.
Digital Marketing:
UX and UI designer- UX is responsible for the function of the product and the UI creates the look and feel of the product.
Web Developer- They are responsible for programming and setting up the website.
Web Designer - They are responsible for the creativity side of the website.
Social Media Manager- This role is responsible for managing the social media and the marketing campaigns of the product. They have to attract the specific target audience for the product.
Content Production:
Content Producer- They have to create and develop written and visual content such as blog posts, images and reports.
Copywriter- They write the text that is used for advertising the product.
